"Go Into All The World, But Listen Too"
Main Street United Methodist Church
154 Main St
Nashua NH 03060

This sermon offers a powerful reminder that the Great Commission calls us not only to speak and share the gospel, but also to humbly listen to the stories, struggles, and hopes of those we encounter. True discipleship is rooted in relationship, and relationships begin with listening. Using examples from Scripture and modern-day ministry, I encouraged the congregation to see listening as an act of love and a pathway to understanding and connection. The message challenges everyone to resist the urge to only “preach at” people, and instead approach others with open hearts and ears, allowing the Spirit to guide conversations that are as much about hearing as they are about proclaiming. The sermon ultimately called the church to be a community that embodies both courage in going and compassion in listening.

"The Importance of a Supportive, Faith-Based LGBTQIA+ Community"
East Saugus UMC, Saugus MA
June 21, 2023
Watch the video here.
On June 21, 2023, I was asked to speak at East Saugus United Methodist Church in Saugus, Massachusetts. Their pride flag had been vandalized, so the pastor, Pat Oduor decided to hold a rally in response. Pastor Pat asked me to speak a message of love, inclusion, and community. My title was "The Importance of a Supportive, Faith-Based LGBTQIA+ Community," and it fit perfectly with the rally's theme. In a world where many people face rejection and misunderstanding, especially within the LGBTQIA+ community, it’s essential that the church becomes a place of refuge, love, and support for all. Jesus calls us to embrace one another, celebrating the diversity within His creation while standing firm in the faith that binds us, so we all should reflect on how we can build a compassionate, faith-filled community where everyone feels seen, loved, and supported in their spiritual journey.
Many who know me well believe that this speech marked the turning point in my journey toward Speeching, Teaching, Preaching, and Reaching®. I wholeheartedly agree. It was the first time I delivered a speech with a clear purpose to a large audience. Afterward, my Bishop, Peggy Johnson, approached me, gently tapped my shoulder, and asked, "Would you like a church?" In that moment, she planted a seed of possibility—a seed that has since grown into a mighty Sequoia!

"Spreading Love"
Good Shepherd UMC, Malden MA
September 18, 2022
Video Coming Soon
This was my very first sermon at the pulpit. With my background in corporate training, it came across more as a training session than a traditional sermon. Since then, I’ve grown significantly, especially in understanding the distinction between Speeching, Teaching, Preaching, Reaching®.
The message was simple but powerful: "Spreading Love." In a world often marked by division, anger, and fear, we are called to be vessels of God’s love—carrying His light into the darkest places. Jesus showed us that love is more than just a feeling; it’s an action, a way of life. In this sermon, we’ll explore how we can live out this calling, spreading love not just to those who love us back, but to everyone we encounter. Let’s be reminded that through love, we reflect the very heart of God.
